Re-Role Masculinities
Cis and trans men, non-binary people, and others who identify with masculinity as a primary experience in life, come together. Through play we will discover truths, test our boundaries, and find a new way of being.
Relationships to masculinity are psychological and the experience is physical. This program will use theater and play to reconnect with bodies and emotions, a connection that is often severed to perform masculinity in this culture. Meeting weekly in October, we will begin to show up in our communities more accountable, more connected, and more whole. The program will end with Community Share Out on Sunday, October 28 at 4pm.
Sundays in October (7, 14, 21 & 28)
1:00-6:00pm (snacks provided)
Cost $50-$200 (sliding scale)
Philadelphia, PA
Applications Due October 2nd at Noon.

Program Goals:
* Develop an understanding of how past and present experiences of masculinities impact our lives
* Use play to practice openness and connection
* Become more resilient and accountable listeners and action partners to femme-identified people, women, and people of all genders.
Access Info: The space will be wheelchair accessible. And on the application there’s a place to name other access needs. Before our first session we’ll explicitly share how to make the space accessible for this group.
If the cost is a burden, there is a space on the application to let us know. We don't want to turn people away because of a financial barrier.
